MAXSTAR WEDGE V-belts have twice the transmission force of conventional V-belts due to the greater wedge effect. They are characterized by high transmission speeds, energy savings and compact design.

The MAXSTAR Wedge was developed to provide the same advantages like the MAXSTAR narrow based on the RMA standard. The thinner top width and the increased friction surface allows a higher torque transmission against the standard V-belt. All sizes of Mitsuboshi V-belts respectively meet the dimensional requirements as stated in ARPM / RMA IP-22.
